![]() Beauty Tips: Submitted by Karly Cheveux - The Valley, Brisbane QLD. Heading off to overnight events is sometimes a beauty kit nightmare, what to take - how much to take excetera, excetera! After many all day all night romps here is my handy little beauty kit guide! First of all pack lightly by investing in effective dual purpose products: Mini-size hair products are hard to find, so this is the perfect time to put your samples to good use. A fabulous exfoliating face and body cleanser is mandatory. I am addicted to MD Formulations Face & Body Scrub, which contains glycolic acid and buffs away surface dryness and rough skin while the granules polish and smooth the skin. A good tinted SPF moisturiser will hydrate your skin while creating a natural coverage for your complexion. Instead of lugging blusher and brushes with you, slip in the very slender Stila Convertible Colour and dab a healthy hue onto your eyelids, cheeks and lips. Throw in a clear lip gloss and black mascara and save space by leaving your heavy perfume bottles at home and packing a fragrant body treatment spray. I adore the Clarins classic Eau Dynamisante which deliciously fragrances the body while refreshing, firming and moisturising the skin. Random Beauty Tips: Where should eye cream be applied - under or above the eye or both? Eye cream should only ever be applied under the eye. Apply morning and night by dividing a very small amount of product between your ring fingers, and lightly dabbing from under the inner corners of your eyes right across to your cheekbones. I like to keep my eye cream in the fridge so it has a tightening and de-puffing effect on tired eyes. About all those beauty products hanging out in the back of your vanity: Bin it girl! Who wants to be using last years colors! Just like the wardrobe update take to your vanity and clear out all those old crusty jars and tubes of 1970 era beauty care products! Foundation, Foundation, Foundation: Getting foundation right is essential, morning or night, but it is tricky. Color is where I used to get it all wrong. Forget about trying a shade on your hand or wrist - try it on your face! Consider texture too. What you want from a foundation may vary between day and night, so keep a couple of choices at your disposal. |
